Dozens of concerned cyclists wrote to the City Council in response to rumors that the city was not planning to repaint the existing bike lanes on 11th and 14th streets when repaving them this Summer. After receiving dozens of letters, coucilman Carl Eskridge said that the message was heard “loud and clear” that the current bike lanes, while imperfect, should be retained.
