Wow! The city and cyclists of Lincoln are on a roll (celebratory pun)!  First, Lincoln, Nebraska comes in first in the nation for the National Bike Challenge, now we have been awarded a $10,000 grant from People for Bikes via their Community Grants Program along with 9 other communities across the country!  Where is this money headed? To the N-Street Protected Bikeway, of course!  This will help the Great Plains Trails Network and the Nebraska Trails Foundation add the 2.2-mile protected bike lane through the downtown area, allowing further access to cyclists of all levels. It will be a welcome addition to the 128-mile bicycle network already in place and happily used now. Way to go, Lincoln!
