Trail Ramblings: Winter Cycling Events

Yes, Global Fat Bike Day was last Saturday, and it was a lot of fun, but it was not the only winter ride to be had. Here is a partial list of upcoming rides and races to keep you out riding and having fun. I say partial because I’m sure I’m forgetting some, and Iowa has a few, too. Remember, there is no bad weather, only bad clothing.

Holiday Lights Ride, December 9, 5:00 snacks and socializing, 6:00 roll out from Cycle Works. Dress up you and your bike if desired, be well lit with front and back lights. Ride through Sheridan Neighborhood, end up at Yia Yia’s for pizza and beverages.
