BicycLincoln will be at the Earth Day celebration this Saturday, and we’ll be having our own cycling clothing swap at our table. If it’s like last year, bicycle related organizations and activities will be located near each other at the south end. If you can’t make it Saturday but would still like to donate usable gear for cycling, we’ll have a donation box at Pepe’s Bistro 1311 South 11th St. Pepe’s is open 11-4 Tuesday through Saturday. Save the date! Our Lincoln Earth Day 2026 Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 25th at Nebraska Innovation Campus from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Lincoln Earth Day is a free event designed with the whole family in mind!
This event will include:
– A Bike Rodeo! Bring your bikes and enjoy: an obstacle course, learn safety skills, bike maintenance, bike decorating and cleaning, and more! A helmet will be required to ride.
– Join over 40 organizations from around the Lincoln area
– Family-friendly activities including: face painting, Book Mobile with Lincoln City Libraries, & a Lincoln Earth Day Passport
– Local food
– Clothing Swap:
- Bring up to 15 gently used clothing items and leave with some new-to-you pieces!
- Volunteer menders will be available for light repairs to clothing such as ripped seams, missing buttons, or patches
- Not ready to part with anything? Join us from 1 PM – 2 PM for a $1 sale, where you can purchase items regardless if you bring something to swap.
